Community Outreach
As outlined in the IL-IA Local Section's Articles of Incorporation, the purpose of the Section is "encouraging in the broadest and most liberal manner the advancement of chemistry in all its branches within the States of Illinois and Iowa." We strive to be involved in our community and support students through the Dr. Donald Kiser Memorial Scholarship and chemistry education and outreach in general through sponsorship of other local organizations involved in STEM outreach and education.
